Well, well, well. Look who's back on our screens? Baseball, that's who! The 2016 MLB season is fast approaching and if you're like me, you can't wait to settle down with a bucket of wings and a brew (or soda pop, if you're so inclined) to watch some exciting runs and catches. The schedule has just been announced and it looks like the season opener is between the Mets and the Royals. How about that for an interesting start?

Now, I'm no baseball expert (I'll leave that to the commentators) but I have to say I'm excited to see what this season has in store. Who will be the team to beat? Which players will rise to the occasion? And most importantly, which team will have the snazziest uniforms?

While we're on the subject of uniforms, let's take a minute to appreciate the opening day logo. Have you seen it? It's got everything a logo needs: baseball bats, a home plate, and even the year. It's like the designer knew exactly what we wanted. If only they had a logo like that for every day life. Can you imagine leaving your house with your very own "Wednesday, June 14th 2017" logo? I think we're onto something here.

But I digress. The point is, baseball season is almost here and I, for one, am excited to see what happens. Will the underdogs rise to the top? Will there be any surprise upsets? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure, I'll be watching with my eyes glued to the screen and a bucket of wings in hand.

So, bring on the drama, bring on the excitement, and most importantly, bring on the baseball! Can it be opening day yet?
